Joe Carrabba

Carrabba brings over 40 years of executive experience and operational execution in natural resources and metals industries. He spent over 20 years in executive leadership at Rio Tinto (ASX: RIO), holding positions in its North American, Australian, Asian and European operations. Carrabba left Rio Tinto to assume the role of Chairman, President and CEO of Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CLF) from 2005 to 2013. More recently, Carrabba serves as Executive Chairman at Winston Gold (CSE: WGC), CEO of Bond Resources (CSE: BJB) and CEO of Teras Resources (TSX.V: TRA). Previously, Carrabba has served as a director of several listed companies including TimkenSteel (NYSE: TMST), Aecon Group (TSX: ARE), where he was a member of the Environmental, Safety and Health Committee, and Newmont Goldcorp (NYSE: NEM), where he chaired its Safety and Sustainability Committee.
Ryan Boland

Ryan Boland is Chief Executive Officer of Element USA Minerals. Additionally, Mr. Boland is CEO of the D’Addario Family Office and Chief Investment Officer of DADA Holdings. As CEO of the D’Addario Family Office, Mr. Boland is responsible for originating and executing all public and private investments for the David D’Addario family. Since starting the Family Office in in 2016, Mr. Boland has executed over 25 private deals across a variety of industries. DADA Holdings executes control investments in the metals and mining industry around the world, with recent exits from Wise Metals (2015) and Noranda Alumina and Bauxite (2021). DADA maintains controls positions in Element USA Minerals (recycling bauxite residue into rare earths/critical minerals), NICHE European Holdings (fused magnesia, fused alumina, and aluminum rolling), and ReNew Recycling (traditional recycling business in southeast US). Prior to joining the D’Addario family, Mr. Boland was an Executive Director at JP Morgan, working across the Investment Bank and Private Bank in New York, London, and Chicago over eleven years.
Jessica Garvey

Garvey brings over 20 years of operational and financial leadership in automotive and consumer electronics industries. While at HARMAN, designer and engineer of connected products and solutions for automakers, consumers, and enterprises worldwide, with leading brands including AKG®, Harman Kardon® and JBL®, Garvey managed the global supply base as Senior Vice President of Procurement. Previously, she led two global business units for Consumer Audio including Headphones & Wearables and Smart Audio. In the past decade, she propelled from a Finance Manager at HARMAN’s US headquarters to her most recent Product Development and Operations roles in China. Since 2011, Garvey and her teams have won over 240 awards for innovation and design for more than 150 different consumer audio products. Garvey was recognized as Dealerscope’s Powerful Women in Consumer Technology in 2018 and Diversity Journal’s award winner for Women Worth Watching in 2016. Garvey began her career as an audit professional at Deloitte after obtaining her CPA. She holds an MBA from Georgetown University and BSBA from American University.
Dave Blake

Blake brings 30 years of experience in operations, engineering and management in mining industries, including Borax, Diamonds, Iron Ore and Phosphate. Most recently, Blake developed an innovative pyro-processing technology at Novaphos, Inc. to produce phosphoric acid and useful co-products using low grade phosphate ores and waste material. He has held executive positions at Rio Tinto (ASX: RIO) and Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CLF), leading multiple operations internationally with budgets of up to $3 billion annually and 6000 employees. Blake managed various sized capital projects including serving as the process owner of a $1.6 billion mine operation and rail system installation in Quebec, Canada. Blake also led the implementation of a business improvement model across seven operational sites to improve performance and operational stability. Blake earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at University of Arizona and an MBA from University of LaVerne, California.
Chris Young

Young has more than 35 years of leadership experience in supply chain operations, business development and business process transformation. In the last five years, Young led business development efforts for New Day Aluminum, and spearheaded the launching of Element USA. Additionally, Young led global sales of Jamaican bauxite in China and to the cement market, as well as managing key logistics suppliers. Previously, in the aluminum industry, Young led sales and operations planning across the integrated supply chain at Noranda Aluminum, as well as business development in the aluminum alloy industry. Prior to the aluminum industry, Young cofounded a software exchange, led sales and business development for an early-stage distributor in the education market, and had increasing leadership roles within Mead/Meadwestvaco, including leading business operations for a one million ton per year paperboard manufacturer, for a $300 million industrial distributor, and leading an enterprise resource planning software implement for a $1B consumer products business. Young started his career as an engineering and weapons officer on a guided missile destroyer in the US Navy, making deployments to the Mediterranean, North Atlantic and Persian Gulf. Young is the chairman of the board of a $450 million mutual fund trust, managed by investment advisor EBS Asset Management. Young earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Dan Byrne

Byrne has 12 years of experience in banking and finance, most recently at J.P. Morgan. Byrne has spent the past 5 years managing various businesses for DADA Holdings, including as CFO of Renew Recycling. Byrne is also a board member of ElementUSA. Byrne earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
